About the Seattle Debate Foundation

The Seattle Debate Foundation (SDF) is a youth development foundation committed to introducing debate as a vehicle for academic achievement and student empowerment.  The SDF supports debate through the Seattle Urban Debate League, a program that partners with Seattle Public Schools and the Alliance for Education to create competitive, sustainable debate teams.  The SDF is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and a member of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce.

 

Job title: Program Coordinator (full-time, salary)

 

Job description:

The Program Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the Seattle Urban Debate League.  The Program Coordinator will be the primary contact with UDL teachers, coaches, and volunteers.  Job responsibilities include organizing monthly debate tournaments, recruiting volunteers, maintaining regular contact with teachers, and assisting with league administration.

Start Date: August 1, 2003 (flexible)


Compensation: The Program Coordinator salary is $20,000.  Benefits include medical and dental insurance, vacation, and holidays.
